About Todd Ellison

Todd Ellison was the Fort Lewis College Archivist until he chose to use his skills and experience in a different setting.  Ellison established the archival program at Fort Lewis College in 1991 in the Center of Southwest Studies.  His work there included organizing more than 900 oral history interviews and describing them on the Web. He has been producing oral history interviews for 35 years. As a faculty member at Fort Lewis, he was the only tenured full Professor in the Libraries Department. Ellison has worked in records management at the City of Durango since 2009, and enjoys preserving history and making it come alive for anyone and everyone.
